Most people go to work every day and perform their daily tasks because that is what they are paid to do. At Taylor Leibow, we take pride in the fact that what differentiates us from our competitors is the professional, non-judgmental, compassionate and caring manner in which we treat every debtor that enters our offices. Receiving a thank you letter, like the one below, re-affirms we are doing the right things to help people who are experiencing a crisis through struggling with debt. It is encouraging to hear that C has turned her life around and is saving for her family’s future.
“My name is C. I reside in St. Catharines, Ontario. I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to your firm, especially to Kathy Lenart. I was drowning for so long and was ashamed of going bankrupt. I just kept praying and waiting for it to get better but it kept getting worse. I spoke to different professionals who advised me that bankruptcy was the best way to go but I refused for years. I did so much to avoid it, knowing that was the only means to start my life over. I owned a house with no value, my debt was huge, mainly the one with CitiFinancial. No matter how many hours I worked I never had enough to clear my bills because I was too far into debt and way behind with all my bills.
Every other month something in the house was cutting off like the lights or water which put major stress on me. I could not keep up to date with anything. I could barely feed my kids. I could not put them in any activities or go shopping for them. Every Christmas I kept promising them that next year will be better but it was always the same or worse. Omg, that was my lowest of lows. To be here and going through that. I didn’t want anyone to know what I was going through. My children were suffering because the stress put me into a major depression and I finally broke down.
I finally spoke to a family member who then referred me to Taylor Leibow. She told me that your firm helped her years ago and she was very happy with the end result. She called and set up an appointment and we went to see Kathy Lenart. From the moment I walked into the room and the greeting I received relaxed me a little. By the time I left the office I was ready to sign on. Kathy was very warm, welcoming, friendly, yet professional. She made me realize there is no shame in getting help. I signed on and it was one of the best things that I have ever done. I don’t regret giving up the house and getting help because I now see how happy my children are, and so am I. This Christmas was one of the best my children have had in over 6 years. I could finally give them some of what they had on their wish list. I can now save. I can now put them into after school activities and so on…… The possibilities are endless now. I am also smarter now in handling my financial needs so I don’t get myself into the same situation.
I now inform my friends, family and co-workers that I did it and it wasn’t the worst thing. I even referred one of my co-workers t0 Kathy. Kathy, your firm and that family member saved my life and I will forever be grateful to all of you. Words can’t express how THANKFUL I am. I pray the Lord continues to make your business a success as you help people like me get our lives back on track. Thank you and God bless you all. Sorry for writing so much.
Sincerely,
C”
